Essentials of Photography Workshop

So you have a DSLR or mirrorless camera. Are you intimidated by those other modes the camera has? Explore what those other modes do and see how your creativity can expand by using them.

This Instructor Lead course will walk through the entire capture process, starting from Camera settings, Lens considerations, ISO, Aperture, Shutter speed, White balance considerations, Proper exposure, and finally Basic processing. In addition to the photography basics, it will explore the types of light, walking through exposure considerations for various lighting situations. Other topics include in-camera double exposure and creative motion blur.

The 3-hour course will cover these topics in depth. Students will gain a solid grounding in photography and best practices essential for success. Session includes critique of a submitted image. (Optional)

Students who complete this class will be able to understand the various modes of a DLSR/mirrorless camera and when to apply a specific camera mode for a given scene.

New and moderately experienced photographers will benefit from this course.

Registrants will have access to the recorded Zoom class for three months.
